Your guide can’t speak inside, but before they take you in they’ll tell you what to look for and give you the surprisingly acrimonious story behind the famous room. Please note that the Sistine Chapel (and the door with access to St. Peter's Basilica) will be closed from April 28-mid-May for the Papal Conclave.
