Golden Waterfall's color is not due to pollution but rather a combination of natural minerals like iron and copper from the nearby abandoned Jinguashi mines. Here you will also overlook The 13 Layers Ruins, also known as the "Remains of the Thirteen Levels," along with Yin-Yang Sea. The sea here exhibits a unique blend of golden-yellow and deep blue hues, resembling the Taoist yin-yang symbol.

Known for its narrow alleys, traditional tea houses, and vibrant red lanterns, Jiufen was once a prosperous gold mining town during the Japanese occupation in the early 20th century.
